RedM Hosting

RedM Hosting Indonesia — RDR2 Roleplay on AMD Ryzen

Red Dead roleplay on dedicated Zen 5 cores and our own Jakarta network — the CitizenFX stack you already know, full root, and anti-DDoS that is always on.

A persistent world asks for a steady server

Red Dead roleplay runs at a different tempo than a city server. Sessions are long, the world is meant to feel continuous, and players build things that are supposed to still be there tomorrow. That shifts what matters: not peak headroom for a single loud hour, but a machine that behaves identically across an eight-hour session and the one after it.

Reserved resources are what make that boring in the good way. A Noctis vDedicated does not oversell — the cores and memory on your plan are yours and are never shared away, so the server's floor does not move when the host gets busy. DDR5 and NVMe sit underneath for the world state and the database writes that a persistent server never stops making.

Smaller scene, less margin for friction

Indonesia's RedM community is smaller and more tightly knit than the FiveM scene, which cuts both ways. A server does not usually need to survive hundreds of concurrent players — but it also cannot afford a bad night, because the players who leave are a visible fraction of the whole community rather than a rounding error.

Latency is the cheapest place to remove friction. We host in Jakarta on our own autonomous network (AS202118), under 10ms to major Indonesian ISPs, rather than routing your players through a foreign datacenter. The layered anti-DDoS is ours too — always on and included, not an add-on that arrives after the first attack takes a session down.

The CitizenFX stack you already know

RedM is built on the same CitizenFX foundation as FiveM, so if you have run a FiveM server, almost none of this is new: the same shape of artifacts, resources and server config, on a KVM machine with full root and a web console. Nothing is locked to a preset panel, and the OS is your pick.

The parts that differ are the parts above the platform — the RDR2 resource ecosystem is younger and thinner than FiveM's, so more of your build tends to be yours. A vDedicated suits that: it is unmanaged, so the game stack and its updates belong to you, while our engineers run the hardware, network and mitigation underneath it 24/7.

Which plan for a RedM server?

Your resource stack and player count drive sizing far more than RedM itself does — a lean server and a heavy persistent build are not the same workload. These are the specs; bring your build to Discord and an engineer will size it with you rather than guess here.

vDedicated vs VPS

Why a vDedicated, not just another VPS

A VPS shares a host's resources across many tenants and oversells capacity. A Noctis vDedicated reserves the cores and memory on your plan for you alone — dedicated-server behavior at VPS pricing.

Typical VPS Noctis vDedicated
CPU & RAM allocation Shared and oversold — contended under load Reserved 1:1, never shared away
Processor Mixed or older shared hosts AMD Ryzen (Zen 5), every plan
Storage Often SATA SSD NVMe
Memory DDR4 common DDR5
DDoS protection Add-on or absent Layered anti-DDoS, always on
Network Reseller upstream Our own network (AS202118), 1 Gbps port
Root & virtualization Varies, container-based common Full root on KVM + web console
Support First-line scripts 24/7 engineers who run the stack

FAQ — RedM

Can I host a RedM server on a Noctis vDedicated?

Yes. Every plan gives you full root on a KVM virtual machine, so you can install the CitizenFX server artifacts, your resources and your database yourself. Nothing on the platform is locked to a preset game panel.

Is RedM different from FiveM to host?

Not from the platform's side. RedM runs on the same CitizenFX stack as FiveM, on the same dedicated cores with the same always-on anti-DDoS. What differs is the RDR2 resource ecosystem you build on top, which is younger and smaller than FiveM's.

Can I run FiveM and RedM on the same plan?

They are both just software you install with full root, so nothing on the platform prevents it. Whether one plan has the headroom for both depends on your two resource stacks and player counts — ask an engineer in Discord before you commit to it.

Is the RedM server managed for me?

No. A vDedicated is unmanaged infrastructure: we run the hardware, the network and the anti-DDoS, and you run the game stack on top. Our engineers are available 24/7 for platform and sizing questions, but they do not administer your resources or your database.

Is DDoS protection included for RedM?

Yes. Layered anti-DDoS runs on our own network, always on, at no extra charge and with no traffic surprises. It is not a paid add-on.

What latency can Indonesian players expect?

Under 10ms to major Indonesian ISPs. Our servers are in Jakarta on our own autonomous network (AS202118) rather than on a reseller upstream, so local players are not routed through another country first.
